Getting from Stanton to Knott’s Berry Farm

Knott’s Berry Farm is at 8039 Beach Boulevard in Buena Park. From Chester Inn Motel, it’s about a 9-minute drive to the park; GhostRider is about an 11-minute drive. For a day at the park, you can book a double room for your Knott’s visit.

For public transport, the park says you can reach its gates from Buena Park Metrolink station by OCTA bus along Beach Boulevard. The station is at 8400 Lakeknoll Drive, at Dale Street, Buena Park, CA 90621. Rideshare services such as Lyft and Uber may drop guests at the Main Entrance loading zone.

Adventure City is another theme park to consider alongside a full day at Knott’s. Its smaller scale makes it a distinct outing.

Tickets, park hours and entry

Tickets, park hours and entry

Knott’s offers several ticket types, but the calendar and current ticket conditions are the best place to confirm the details before you plan your day. The park offers daily admission tickets, season passes, group tickets for groups of 15 or more, and military tickets.

Opening hours

  • Monday to Friday and Sunday: 10 AM–10 PM
  • Saturday: 10 AM–11 PM

Last checked November 2026. Hours can change on holidays and for special events.

All guests need a valid admission ticket or season pass to enter. The park is closed on Christmas Day, and its operating hours for other dates appear on its calendar; hours can change without notice. Soak City operates seasonally from late May to early September.

Guests, bags and other items may be inspected, including through metal detection or other screening measures. Weapons and items that could be considered weapons are prohibited. If you leave during the day, re-entry requires valid admission and a review of the photo attached to your ticket or pass; some private or special ticket events do not allow re-entry.

How to choose rides for your day

How to choose rides for your day

Knott’s four themed areas give you a practical way to group rides: Ghost Town, Fiesta Village, the Boardwalk and Camp Snoopy. Choose an area to start in, then check the ride information for height requirements before setting expectations for your group.

Each ride and attraction has its own height requirement. The park also warns that unlisted rides may occasionally close and that scheduled closures can change without notice. Check the official site before you go for the current calendar, ride information and ticket details.

If you’re comparing nearby attractions, this practical guide to Adventure City in Stanton covers a separate theme park option.

GhostRider and other headline coasters

GhostRider and other headline coasters

GhostRider, Silver Bullet, Sierra Sidewinder, HangTime, Coast Rider and Xcelerator are among the named rides at Knott’s. The ride’s name can help you make a shortlist, but use the park’s ride information to check height requirements and any operational updates before you visit.

For a closer look at the park’s wooden coaster, the GhostRider ride guide focuses on what to know about that attraction. The Silver Bullet ride and visit guide covers that coaster in more detail.

Food, accessibility and practical breaks

Knott’s permits unopened and empty water bottles, baby food, and food for guests with special dietary restrictions. Other outside food, drinks and snacks are not permitted. Free Wi-Fi is available throughout the park.

Manual and electric wheelchairs are available to rent inside Ghost Town next to the Geode Shop. Rentals are limited, first-come, first-served and require a deposit. Electric wheelchair reservations must be made at least 24 hours in advance, and rentals are not available during Knott’s Scary Farm.

Smoking, including vaping and e-cigarettes, is allowed only in the designated area near the main entrance, not elsewhere inside the park.

Parking and end-of-day transport

Standard parking costs $35 for autos and motorcycles and $40 for buses and RVs; special-event parking prices may differ. The Grand Preferred Lot is the closest parking to the park. Preferred parking costs $55, while an all-season or prepaid parking upgrade costs $20 per visit, subject to availability. Lots open approximately one hour before the theme park.

The Metered Lot by California Marketplace offers up to one hour of complimentary parking. Each additional half hour or portion costs $10, up to a $65 daily maximum. A validated ticket and receipt showing a minimum $35 purchase at a California Marketplace restaurant or shop provides two additional hours of free parking in that lot.

Parking prices and conditions can change, so confirm them with Knott’s before setting out.
