Adventure City Stanton: a practical visit guide

Adventure City is at 1238 South Beach Boulevard, between Ball Road and Cerritos Avenue. Although the park is commonly associated with Stanton, its address is in Anaheim, California 92804.

Adventure City’s height rules can help you decide which rides to try first. The Adventure City Express Train and Carousel have no minimum height, while the Freeway Coaster and Rewind Racers have specific requirements.

• Adventure City Express Train and Carousel: no minimum height.
• Freeway Coaster: at least 36 inches with a responsible companion, or 42 inches to ride alone.
• Rewind Racers: at least 39 inches with an adult, or 48 inches to ride alone.

Check the attraction guidelines for ride requirements before you set your plans. Rides and attractions may close, and operating hours can change; park rules say these conditions do not qualify for compensation or a refund.

General admission includes unlimited use of the park’s rides, shows and attractions, except for the climbing wall and arcade. Admission is $32.95 for guests ages one and up; infants 12 months and younger do not need a ticket.

The arcade and rock wall require a separate Fun Card or fee. Same-day tickets are sold until one hour before closing, subject to availability. You can leave and re-enter the park the same day with a hand stamp.

Adventure City publishes opening hours by date rather than as a single regular schedule. Check the park’s official hours-and-events calendar when choosing your visit day; hours may change.

Parking at Adventure City is free, and the parking area is a short distance from the main entrance. Once inside, single and double strollers are available to rent just inside the gate. The park says its strollers are not intended for infants and cannot be taken outside the park.

A limited number of non-motorized wheelchairs are available for daily rental on a first-come, first-served basis. You can also bring your own motorized or non-motorized wheelchair.

Plan food, breaks and park access around Adventure City’s entry rules. Outside food and drinks are not allowed, with exceptions for bottled water, baby formula or food, and food for guests with special dietary needs. Coolers are not permitted. Outdoor picnic tables are available, and the hand-stamp policy lets you leave the park for lunch and return.

Guests must wear shoes and shirts. Adventure City is a non-smoking facility; smoking is permitted at least 20 feet outside the main gate. Animals are not permitted except approved or trained service animals, which may not be allowed on some rides or attractions.

For birthday party, group and general park questions, Guest Relations is open seven days a week from 9:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. The park opened in 1994.
